Nearly Two Centuries of Service
Shiloh Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church is one of the oldest African- American churches in Columbus, Mississippi. Long before it was considered socially acceptable to worship united together, Shiloh offered a place for people of color to gather in the Lord's name. Only six pastors have headed the church throughout its 198 year existence. Over the decades Shiloh has served as a place for developing spiritual strength, faith and hope. Additionally, the church has served as a place for social gatherings, business meetings, and education. Shiloh holds not only significant importance in the hearts of its members and community, but also in the history of Columbus, Mississippi.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

You will be presented a word that connects everyday life to the words of the Bible. The music is sure to give you an opportunity to praise and worship. Don’t be surprised when some people raise their hands as a sign of praise while singing, and don’t feel obligated to do so yourself. The Shiloh atmosphere is that of freedom to praise the Lord the way you feel most comfortable.
